CNN —Tiger Woods’ ex-girlfriend Erica Herman has dropped her appeal to nullify a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and also denied sexual harassment allegations against the golfer. In a lawsuit submitted in May, Woods was accused of pursuing a sexual relationship with Herman while she worked for him at his South Florida restaurant, The Woods Jupiter, and then forcing her to sign a non-disclosure agreement or she’d be fired from her job. “In dismissing this appeal, Erica Herman states that she was never a victim of sexual harassment or sexual abuse at the hands of Tiger Woods or any of his agents and it is her position that she never asserted a claim for such,” the court document reads. CNN has reached out to Woods’ agent and legal representatives. CNN has also reached out to Herman’s representatives for comment.

CNN —Tiger Woods’ ex-girlfriend Erica Herman has dropped her lawsuit filed in October 2022, which alleged that a trust owned by the 47-year-old golfer violated the Florida Residential Landlord Tenant Act by breaking an oral tenancy agreement, and which sought damages “in excess of $30,000,000,” according to court filings and previous CNN reporting. Herman dismissed her complaint without prejudice “pending the resolution” of her appeal in a more recent complaint, aimed at nullifying an NDA, that she said required “confidential arbitration in all disputes between” Herman and Woods. CNN has reached out to attorneys for Tiger Woods and Erica Herman for comment regarding the dropping of the $30 million lawsuit. The October filing had alleged that Woods’ Jupiter Island Irrevocable Homestead Trust unlawfully brought Herman’s tenancy at the couple’s property on the Hobe Sound, Florida, to an end. Lawyers for Erica Herman were challenging the validity of the NDA because of allegations of sexual harassment against the 15-time major champion. “Herman has had the opportunity to provide factual specificity for any claim relating to sexual assault or sexual harassment, however, she has not done so,” wrote Judge Metzger. Herman had asked a judge to void the agreement, citing a recent law that limits enforcing such agreements in sexual harassment and assault cases. Woods is accused of pursuing a sexual relationship with Herman while she worked for him and then forcing her to sign a non-disclosure agreement or she’d be fired from her job, according to the document. The document also alleges a “scheme” used against Herman last year where Woods asked her to pack for a weekend getaway to the Bahamas. In an earlier briefing, Herman cited a statute that says plaintiffs in sexual harassment or assault disputes cannot be compelled to arbitrate those claims. The most recent suit, filed in March, Herman argues the 2017 agreement is not enforceable in part because of a new federal law invalidating arbitration clauses in sexual assault or sexual harassment cases.
